Central Ohio’s Premier Gay podcast has announced a new spin off show, The Gay Comedy Podcast. Featuring the crew of A Shanty No Lemon this new podcast is the spin-off the previously introduction skits of the A Shanty No Lemon show.

Starting April 2009 The Gay Comedy Podcast will feature NEW exclusive original comedy skits written and performed by the A Shanty No Lemon crew.

“We are splitting off the skit portion of the show and keeping A Shanty No Lemon as more of a commentary show. This will provide Podcast listeners a choice of which feature of the show they like best and what they choose to listen to,” says producer Anthony Anselmo.

Central Ohio’s 1st Gay Podcast is set to return coming early 2009. The online radio show that has featured the lives of four close friends took a break last August. However, coming this early 2009, the crew plans to return to the studio to record more shows. Show regulars Tim, Patrick and Anthony hope to have new shows in the syndicated feed by early February.

The show has also featured exclusive comedy skits, political commentary, interviews with LBGT celebrities and local Ohio gay news and information.

Creator Anthony Anselmo is excited to take the show in new directions.

“We decided to take a break and recharge our batteries but even as we did the fans came out in huge support for our return. We have some great ideas and while we’re moving the show in a bit of a new direction, our audience won’t be disappointed.”

When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade!

From the creators of A Shanty No Lemon, comes a new podcast based out of Columbus, Ohio. Gaily Forward (GailyFWD) is a talk show dedicated to providing an insight into the life of GLBT individuals. Show hosts Benji Michalek and Brandon Macy hope to breakthrough the comedic portrayals that the LGBT community seems to continually play in current media.

Anthony Anselmo and Tim Martin are part of the team that created ‘A Shanty No Lemon’, “Columbus Ohio’s Premier Gay Podcast” for the last three years. Now Anthony and Tim are producing Gaily FWD to assist in the discussion of important gay topics and get some fresh blood into the podcasting world.

WITNESS TO A CRIME : A CITIZENSâ€™ AUDIT OF AN AMERICAN ELECTION

The 2004 presidential election in Ohio, the state that decided the election, was rigged.

Richard Hayes Phillips, Ph.D., began investigating the Ohio election when he received an unsolicited e-mail containing obviously erroneous election results from Cleveland. He quickly found that hundreds of votes in certain precincts had inexplicably shifted from John Kerry to other presidential candidates. This made him a witness to a crime, with a duty to investigate further and to present his findings publicly. The result is the book that you hold in your hands. It is an investigative report and eyewitness history, the document of record for what really happened in Ohio.

He began by analyzing election results at the precinct level. Assisted by a band of â€œspreadsheet angelsâ€ who compiled the data into tables and spreadsheets, Phillips wrote and submitted 21 papers to the Ohio Supreme Court as an expert witness in the Moss v. Bush lawsuit. He presented evidence of voter suppression, failure to count ballots cast, and alteration of the vote count sufficient to question the alleged victory of George W. Bush in Ohio.

He resumed his investigation as a cold case. He presented two new papers to the Election Assessment Hearing in Houston. He worked with Rolling Stone magazine on the landmark article by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., â€œWas the 2004 Election Stolen?â€ And he began submitting records requests to Boards of Elections in Ohio.

Assisted by teams of citizen volunteers equipped with digital cameras, Phillips amassed some 30,000 images of forensic evidence. Then he analyzed it all himself, examining 126,000 ballots, 127 poll books, and 141 voter signature books from 18 counties in Ohio. His preliminary findings, submitted to Federal Court in the King Lincoln v. Blackwell lawsuit, helped obtain a court order to protect the ballots from destruction. His ultimate findings are set forth in relentless detail in this book.

In the audited counties, three-fifths of the ballots punched for a liberal black woman for Chief Justice, and half of the ballots punched in favor of gay marriage, were also punched for Bush. Thousands of ballots in heavily Democratic precincts were pre-punched for third-party candidates. Voting machines were rigged, tabulators were rigged, ballot boxes were stuffed, ballots were altered, ballots were sorted according to candidate, and ballots were destroyed.

But donâ€™t take his word for it. See for yourself. Included with this book is a CD with 1200 digital images of ballots, poll books, voter signature books, and other elections records, for all to see, and for none to deny. The evidence is in your hands.

Richard Hayes Phillips holds a B.A. in politics from the State University of New York at Potsdam, an M.A. in geography and an M.A. in history from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in geomorphology from the University of Oregon. A former college professor, he has taught twelve different courses in geology, geography, and history. He has investigated the use of herbicides containing dioxin in New York, and groundwater hydrology at nuclear dump sites in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. He has written or co-authored more than a dozen geologic and hydrologic papers, in both English and Spanish, which he submitted to regulatory agencies. He has four times been recognized as an expert witness in state and federal proceedings, twice as a geologist, and twice as an election fraud investigator.

Before founding Freedom to Marry, Evan served as marriage project director for Lambda Legal Defense & Education Fund, was co-counsel in the historic Hawaii marriage case, and participated in numerous gay rights and HIV/AIDS cases.

Evan previously served as Associate Counsel to Lawrence Walsh in the Iran/Contra investigation, and as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York. Between Yale College and Harvard Law School, Evan spent two years with the Peace Corps in West Africa.

Citing his national leadership on marriage equality and his appearance before the U.S. Supreme Court in Boy Scouts of America v. James Dale, the National Law Journal in 2000 named Evan one of “the 100 most influential lawyers in America.”

In 2004, Evan was named one of the “Time 100,” Time magazine’s list of “the 100 most influential people in the world.”

Evan Wolfsonâ€™s first book, Why Marriage Matters: America, Equality, and Gay Peopleâ€™s Right to Marry, was published by Simon & Schuster in July 2004 and was re-released in paperback with a new foreword in June 2005.

Robert German in Columbus Q-Bar May 11th

Born in Oklahoma and raised in the heartland, Robert German was classically trained in voice from the age of twelve, singing in chamber choirs and opera productions while studying music. Robert began to teach himself guitar and writing songs at the age of nineteen. He moved to New York in 1999 and became involved in a turbulent relationship. Its chaotic end inspired Robert to write a song entitled Marlboro Man. A special limited edition promotional single of Marlboro Man was distributed nationally by with the DVD for the Academy-Award winning movie Brokeback Mountain. In June 2006, DJ Jeremy Hovies of Sirius Satellite Radio began playing the song on his show Last Call. The song instantly made its debut on Sirius Out Qs Hot 20 countdown soaring to number 1 on August 12th. A new recording of Marlboro Man is featured on Robert’s full-length album Sirens of Brooklyn, released in November of 2006 on Robert’s own label, pigeonhole records. With his extraordinary voice Robert creates horns, stringed instruments, drums and other various sounds. The album is comprised of 12 songs, all of them written, produced and performed solely by Robert. Robert’s song Well Formed Man, the fourth track on the album was recently featured on High Bias with Uncle LD on the Village Voice’s website and on National Public Radio’s Open Mic. His song Open Wide held the #1 position on the Sirius OutQ countdown for 3 weeks straight. His song, Fishnet sailor is currently the #1 song on that same countdown. Robert is currently in the studio working on his second album, touring and working on his first music video for the song open wide, to be released in the late summer of 2007. We are open proud, gay individuals who are comfortable with ourselves. What we are NOT comfortable with is other gay people being uncomfortable with us, simply because we are gay and do not fit into the stereotypical mold. However, it is not the responsibility nor the right of other to tell us how to act, or how to do our show. Being gay doesnâ€™t always have to be personable and any personal life we share on this show, is done as the audienceâ€™s luxury and is not a requirement by us or society.

That being said there has definitely been some mis-communication and if so we extend our apologizes to both sides. Richard Hayes Phillips holds a PHD in Geomorphology specializing in water flow through desert terrain and has fought a nuclear waste dump in New Mexico off and on for the past two decades. Richard is a gay man, living in the Adirondack mountains of upstate new York. However, over the past two years Richard has been involved in uncovering and analyzing the actual forensic data of the stolen 2004 election in Ohio.

Because of his work, this previous statement can now be taken as fact. This goes way beyond long lines and discredited exit poles as Richard’s sample set of data includes tens of thousands of actual ballot and signature books from over a dozen county Boards of Elections whose tallies simply did not add up. Richard is now able to point out clear examples of non credible vote counts and actual mechanisms of fraud.
